Enjoy live music and over 50 vendors offering fresh local food, maple syrup, artisan goods and more. We'll meet at the Farmers Market at 10am and then you will be free to explore.

Hands-on tour of Savage Hart Farm by owners, Peggy and Todd. Meet their flock of Corriedale sheep and lambs, feel their amazing fiber and learn the ins and outs of running a sheep farm. Enjoy 270 degree views from their hilltop farm. We'll enjoy a picnic lunch from a local restaurant at their farm.

Take in the views from Peggy and Todd's farm while enjoying a catered picnic lunch.
Head back to the Norwich Inn to knit from a rocking chair on their spacious porch, head into the forest for a hike on the Appalatian or Bill Ballard Trail, or engage in any of the number of activities listed below. We'll meet back at the Norwich Inn at 5pm to caravan over to North Pomfret for dinner at Cloudland Farm.

The scenic drive takes roughly 40 minutes and GPS can be spotty so we'll caravan to make sure nobody gets lost, but it's a good idea to review the directions ahead of time.

We'll meet in the lobby of the Norwich Inn before driving over to Junction Fiber Mill. It's an easy 10 minute drive and GPS should work well. Be sure to check out and pack up your things as we won't be returning to the Inn.

Exclusive hands-on tour of Junction Fiber Mill led by us, the owners. You’ll learn how yarn is made from raw fleece to finished skein, hear what it’s like to run a fiber mill, touch and feel a wide variety of fleeces and learn about the unique characteristics of breed-specific yarn. Shop our collection of breed-specific and hand-dyed yarns.

For a spirited walk through the forest both Bill Ballard Trail and the Appalachian Trail have trailheads less than 5 minutes drive from the Norwich Inn. For a view, hike to the top of the Gile Mountain firetower.

Norwich Bookstore: filled with written treasures. The staff are wonderful with book recommendations.
King Arthur Baking Company: this is a destination for home bakers featuring a baking supplies shop and cafe. The architecture of this place alone is worth a visit.
